Since 2005 platform continues in process of transformation. The tree-tecture is thought as transformable sculptural compound, in which human construction and intervention upon natural existence and the host tree itself end up in an harmonic co-exsistence. The anarchitectual construction provides a refuge platform, a place with a joyous sense of out of reach within a natural surrounding.

The platform is an entirely suspended construction. Its´ shape follows the structure of the tree, distributing the charge in between and around three mayor ramification of the oak tree. Living wood is multiple times more resistant than cut plywood, so it is highly important to avoid deterioration of the plant, which could result from the oxidation of nails in a living trunk. Not a single nail is carved into the wood, so the construction can float and grow with the tree.

Platform 0.1 was build with unprotected wood, which under the german climate condition has a limited live-expectation. In 2012 the platform is reconstructed using treated plywood to guarantee a large durability under the open exposure to the elements.
